Setting the African and international CSR scene – to the current CSR reality



Secretary general Kersi F. Porbunderwalla will conduct a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) workshop during the 9th Annual Audit, Risk & Governance Africa Conference, 2-5 September 2014, Zambezi Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zambia

And an anti- Bribery and Corruption Workshop at the 4th Annual Fraud & Corruption Africa Summit, on the 2nd September 2014.

During the workshops the participants will examine and update the corporate CSR and Bribery, Fraud and Corruption (BFC) implications in the region. How can business comply and act on the CSR/BFC challenges that result in real liabilities as well as reputational risks. What are the processes and tools to manage the key steps to ensure BFC/CSR compliance to the “hard laws and regulations”, to the cultural issues and “soft laws” and align the Governance, Risk Management and Compliance components with the organization's strategy, goals and Code of Conduct.
