Message from the Board of Copenhagen Compliance®

Dear Participant at the 7th annual European GRC Summit.

Since the first Copenhagen Compliance Conference in November 2007, at the wake of the subprime loan disaster that later developed into a financial and credit crunch, there seems to be a continued need for promoting the advantages of implementing good governance, risk management compliance and IT security (GRC) best practices throughout the international business group.
The corporate community is truly globalized. This brings a new set of challenges and pressures for International GRC professionals and businesses. The 7th annual European GRC Summit pledges to provide the Board of directors, management, auditors and GRC officers, with the opportunity to learn and share GRC strategies, ideas, tools and challenges with the experts.

The conference objective is to help the participants to navigate thru the current corporate complexities and provide information and ideas to be build a more effective GRC management.

The 2013 Copenhagen Compliance Conference will continue to address some of the GRC components to help your organization with updated solutions to some of the GRC issues including:
  • Addressing whistleblower issues
  • Workshops, Education & Training
  • Effective internal investigations
  • Managing & developing the GRC officer
  • GRC and IT Policies & Procedures
  • Meaningful measurements and metrics
  • Managing third party risk
  • Updating the Bribery Act & FCPA
  • Ethics and Compliance Infrastructure
  • Complications of the Dodd Frank
  • Risk Assessment, Auditing & Monitoring
  • Segregation of Duties/Conflicts of Interest
  • Tackling social media
  • Cloud Computing Issues

And four hands-on parallel sessions to help you to integrate, embed and link your business processes together with people and technology:
Just because a GRC issue looks like a nail, it does not mean that a hammer will solve it: Our GRC methodology acknowledges that context recognition can be tricky. What needs to be done is not a straightforward exercise of repeating the solution. Do not miss this exciting opportunity to identify the GRC best practices and strategies best suitable for you, your company and your colleagues.

Sincerely
Copenhagen Compliance
